February 14th, 2025 – Strand Palace hotel, located in the heart of London’s West End, is set to launch a brand-new MAMMA MIA! Afternoon Tea experience on February 14th, 2025, bringing the magic of the smash-hit musical to life with a playful and delicious twist. Offering a fun-filled escape with savoury and sweet treats inspired by characters and iconic ABBA songs from the musical, the exciting new afternoon menu will transport guests into the feel-good world of MAMMA MIA!.

The MAMMA MIA! Afternoon Tea menu features a range of creative dishes including Tanya’s Chiquitita Wrap, with tikka marinated chicken, and the Voulez-Vent, a vol-au-vent filled with poached salmon. A classic favourite, the Slipping Through My Fingers cucumber and tzatziki finger sandwiches, adds a refreshing Greek-inspired touch.

Showstopping sweet treats include Donna’s Dynamo Ball, a shimmering coconut macaroon filled with citrus curd that channels the sparkle of the West End show, and Sophie’s Dream Lemon Drizzle Gateau, a lemon drizzle gateau topped with a candy floss cloud, served alongside Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! dark chocolate midnight cake with hazelnut praline. Traditional fruit scones – The Winner Takes The Scone – are served with clotted cream and raspberry jam, while guests can sip on a selection of champagne, prosecco, cocktails, and mocktails.
The whimsical MAMMA MIA! Afternoon Tea is served daily in The Palace Tea Parlour at Strand Palace hotel, decorated with charming artwork that gives a firm nod to the beloved characters and idyllic Greek-island setting of the musical. Available until November 2025, the MAMMA MIA! Afternoon Tea is £43 per person, with a children’s menu for £25. The Palace Tea Parlour is also available for private events, offering a perfect setting for birthdays, hen dos, and celebrations, with packages including free-flowing bubbles from £70 per person.
